Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our cruise reunion

General Questions

When and where is the reunion taking place?

Our cruise reunion is scheduled for Summer 2027 (exact date to be determined), departing from a Florida port (specific port to be determined). We're currently evaluating the best timing and location to maximize attendance and convenience for our members.

Who can attend this reunion?

This reunion is open to all veterans who served in USAF Vehicle Operations, Ground Transportation, or related transportation roles. Spouses, partners, and family members are also welcome. We encourage participation from all service branches who worked in similar transportation roles.

How long is the cruise?

The cruise is planned as a 3-day experience, which provides the perfect balance of time to reconnect with fellow veterans while not being away from home for too long. This duration allows for meaningful fellowship while accommodating various schedules and budgets.

Why was a cruise format chosen for this reunion?

The cruise format was the brilliant idea of Pam Depass, who envisioned a unique and memorable way for veterans to reconnect. A cruise offers several advantages:

  • All-inclusive entertainment and dining
  • Various activities for all interests and mobility levels
  • Built-in fellowship opportunities
  • Scenic ocean views and relaxation
  • Something different from traditional hotel-based reunions
